I like Sage on my plain ground pork. Works whether it is for breakfast patties or for Biskits & Gravy.
My old bottle of Sage ran out and when the spice section at Rural King they had RUBBED SAGE in bags. Is this different different than normal sage? Is it just the process? Smells the same to me and looks the same too.

No pro or chef here. But I would say if it walks like a duck and sounds like a duck, it's a duck.
Try it and let us know!

Rubbed sage is fluffier if that makes sense. I think it takes about twice as much rubbed sage as ground sage for the same flavor.

I just finished lunch. I used what I thought the right amount. I should use more. I have found this with other spices too. Usually more intense but that may just be spice getting old.
