Not long ago House Carnival Barker Matt Gaetz and his foolish followers led the ouster of Kevin McCarthy from the Speakership because he refused to take the "hard-line" stance on not bargaining with the Democrats. New Speaker Johnson was going to lead a revolution!
Fast-forward a few months and McCarthy has decided to hang it up and get out of the DC cesspool, which can potentially reduce the already thin majority, and Johnson has struck a bi-partisan deal to keep the Government in business. Now the hardcore Republicans are mad! What the hell did they expect?
While I 100% agree with their goal, I 100% disagree that said goals are realistic. Politics is a game of bargaining and, well, just a game in itself. It seems the Republicans don't learn from all the practice they have been getting and defeats in the elections.

Maybe some of them should step into the Speakers role for a few months and see what it's actually like having to keep both sides under control! As speaker Johnson has to negotiate otherwise nothing would actually get done. I really do wish the Republicans would be as cohesive among themselves as the Democrats are. Honestly reminds me of the period between Teddy Roosevelt and FDR, when the Republicans were highly fractured and had a lot of super progressive, super crazy ideals. Back then I would've preferred the Democrat party (they weren't that crazy compared to today and also they didn't have a bunch of crazy ideas that fractured them). Now I guess the history has come almost full circle again as it usually does every 100 years.

I think the Republican are acting more like a republic, not like the Democrats that are acting like a dictatorship. So I prefer a republic mindset over a dictatorship mindset. It's great that all members (most) have a voice at least. I think the mad part is media hype and not reality.
