I purchased mine in 1998 or so. IIRC at the time the state said it was valid even if I moved out of state.
Talking to a buddy today, he said that was no longer the case. You move out of state, the license is no longer valid. I did ask this question in "Ask the CO" forum.
What does everybody else remember? Or have the regulations been changed since then?

Just spoke to our local CO....yes, still valid. This^^^^^ and you can still apply for all draw hunts even if the criteria says no “no-residents”

Originally, and it is stated as so on the back on my license, these were in lieu of all RESIDENT licenses and tags so they were only valid if the owner lived in Indiana. At some point, a lawsuit came about complaining about a Lifetime License that was no longer valid by a living person just because they moved out of state. That law suit was won and we are at where we are now. I don't see it changing since the number of license holders gets smaller every year.
