I have a pretty long rant on here from last year about Archers meat processing in Greenwood so I won’t get into why I’ll never darken their doorstep again, but the buck I shot on Tuesday was finished already last night by the knightstown meat locker and I am thoroughly impressed. Everything is clean, well cut, nicely packaged and I didn’t see a single hair anywhere! The summer sausage looks great, they snack sticks, everything. And a three day turn around is great! I’ll be bringing my deer here until I start doing it myself (may be learning here pretty soon).

I seen a guy on another site give the same review but he also said he paid around $200 also.
They make and sell stuff also that’s good but from farm raised deer.

Looks like the kid in the microwave has plans for most of that product.

Looks like the kid in the microwave has plans for most of that product. Not if the dog has anything to say about it 😂

I paid $125 to archers for a really bad job. Twice in one season. This place was $175 and they did a GREAT job. My wife won’t touch any of the meat from archers so if an extra $50 is all it costs for peace of mind, then I’ll gladly pay the extra.

Their summer sausage is the best I’ve ever had, injected with jalapeño cheese it’s amazing. Have always taken deer there
