"No camera's needed or wanted, but real enforcement of the people. It's time to be the law since the police can't be. "
Not sure what you mean. I don't think there are enough police to cover even a portion of the controlled intersections on Lima Rd. From Dupont north there are lights at the med place, Carroll Rd, Hathaway, Huntertown, Gump, Cedar Canyon Roads and I may have missed 1 or2. Cameras 24/7/365. Ticket issued to the vehicle, no points to the driver. I bet the first 6 months they about pay for themselves. No down time while writing the ticket. The pics of my van were pretty clear on the Illinois toll road.

OK I thought you meant we should start making traffic stops. Cameras at lights is one way to remove some of the police work load.

Running yellow lights is fine because that usually happens when you are either already in the intersection (from the green light) or you happen to be even slightly too close for a good stop when the light turns yellow. This happens to me a good deal, and with my issues I often struggle to keep calm about it. Yes, stop lights always make me nervous unless the light is already red or about to go red and I can see it. You can get ticketed for running a red light however.

I have not taken the time to look up Indiana law. But while talking to my son in Virginia he happened to look up their law. Per Virginia, Under no condition (barring emergent like police, ambulance etc) are you allowed to turn left on a red arrow. In other words you can never turn left on a red arrow- not even a two way to a one way OR a one way to a left turn one way. You can turn left on the one way if the red light is a solid, regular red light. But not on the red arrow. I can only guess Indiana and other states are the same but I’m not sure. Over 2 million miles driven all over the world, Semi trucks to motorcycles and between and I was not aware of this law. Always willing to learn!
