Any knife makers or collectors out there?

My ole buddy that supplies me with vintage motorcycle parts gave me a few knives the other day.
I know very little about knives and I just wondered if anybody here could give some guidance.
I see these have some kind of "Maker's mark."
If it helps, I can try later to zoom in for a better image of the marks.
And I'm open to any input overall that you may have on the knives in the pic below.
Is there a resource available to reference the maker?
Or can any maker just stamp or engrave as they please?
