I would say Madison county is the forgotten county. A lot of people on this site live in Madison county, but drive to the South or North.

i hunt here all week long (after work) on weekends i head to salamonie. more deer up their then in all of madison county..

I hunt off of Romine Rd not to far from the river. Workin on a spot on 210 along the river and 20 acres along the river south of cross on hamilton rd.

I wouldn't worry about the cross Hamilton rd area. No deer at all in that area. ;D

i use to live in madison county. between muncie and alexandria...i am a very avid whitetail hunter but i never once hunted in madison county. i have land in parke county in west central indiana and the hunting is alot better there. however madison county is a great county to score on a giant whitetail. there is plenty of crops, actually more than plenty haha. and all the creeks provide enough woods for the deer the hangout. thats where i would always tend to see the deer. and becouse there arnt as many hunters in madison county that give bucks more of a chance to grow into older deer. you just have to patern and know how to hunt the deer in this kind of flat area.
