Schall53 our fishing friend Bruce his room mate Drew and yours truly fished this morning aboard the "IN THE BOX" out of St Joe Michigan.
We had a nice breeze this morning with easy 1-2 foot waves and clear skies.
We started fishing in 130 feet of water and worked our way out to 160'
With the full moon and this warm water there is a ton of bait fish so we didn't expect much.
The Captain said they only caught 4 fish yesterday.
We had nice steady pick and were done in 4 hours with 15 fish.
We are fishing again tomorrow.

The ol' greaser. Was that meant to describe the fish or the fisherman?
Great haul and good luck!

One COHO. Not the right time or place for silver fish. Spring time is the best out of St Joe. A reliable report regarding Ludington is the fishing is starting to slow but the amount of boats was insane and made for very tough fishing. The catch numbers are dwindling.

I was wondering when the Kings were going to show up. I follow MI Sprortsman regularly. They already had a decent run of coho and kings run up the tributaries further north. Some reports of local fish trickling in. The fish ladder camera was turned off last year for lack of funding, so unable to verify any movement.
