Here in the next few days I'll swing by my buddy's place to pick some tomatoes.
He said he is getting overloaded with Beefhearts, Beefsteaks and Romas!
So, I love fresh salsa and I'm into Mild!
That tongue scorchin', a$$ burnin' stuff ain't for me!
Thoughts and recommendations?

I think Mrs. Wages, from Rural King is about as good as it gets! They have several deferent levels of spice, they are sometimes picked over and not a great selection this time of year, but I would check it out. I buy mine in the off season when the selection is best.

I think my mom uses a Ball salsa mix. She makes the best salsa I’ve ever had. I just received 9 jars that they found from last year as they are about to start making this years batch.

I stopped by my buddy and he had tomatoes out the ying yang! And a bunch more coming! I got a tray of Beefhearts and then he gave me 2 trays like this of his Amish Paste:  And just like y'all recommended he threw in a pack of Mrs. Wages since he said that is their favorite, too!  I made a batch last night and now it's in the fridge. Meanwhile, my wife and I have been making sauce out of the remaining bunch with 2 crock pots on the heat now:  |

The wife uses Mrs Wages as well, but then she has one in her head that she uses, she adds pineapple to that one.
