Woke garbage. That sums it up for me.
Such a terrible waste of talent.

Woke garbage. That sums it up for me. Such a terrible waste of talent. Are they still making songs? Have not heard much about them for their music in decades. Not sure why they are still relevant enough to make news.

Woke garbage. That sums it up for me. Such a terrible waste of talent. What did they do that seemed woke at the concert? -An entire set of social-issue based songs. -A scrolling list of names on the stage backdrop screen that started with George Floyd, Eric Brown, and Trayvon Martin. I assume it was a good number of individuals that found themselves dead after participating in criminal activity and then resisting arrest. -The rainbow flag (digital) on the stage backdrop. -Numerous references to LGBTQ!@#$%^&* I am sure there were more, but I instantly lost interest and started encouraging my family to leave.

I would not go to their concert if they paid me. I wasn't paid, but we did have free tickets. The sisters have unquestionable talent that covers a variety of string instruments. The idiot lead singer can sing as well as anyone. She just has a hard time focusing on good country music and not preaching about her political and social beliefs. I'll not attend another concert of theirs, free or paid. The opening band was Wild Rivers from Canada. The female singer was as good as any I have heard in quite a while. They have a good chance to make it big if they can get with good management a focus on music.

They were quite the harmonists when they started out. I really did enjoy their music I enjoyed the harmonies and the instrumental but their political views obviously did not align with mine. Not only did it not align with mine but they seem to push the issue as well. It is a shame and as said before a waste of talent.

Didn't they change their name to just "The Chicks"?
As I recall when "W" was president, they said they were ashamed to be American. Then they changed their name because "Dixie" is racist...but I would think be called "The Chicks" would be offensive to the feminists. 🤷♂️
