The turkey God's finally shined on me today. First off I would like to thank God for the ability to be able to hunt these bird and I kept having faith I would come across a bird. I went to an area this morning that I heard a bird yesterday gobble on the roost. It was really windy this morning so it was hard to hear. I finally heard a gobble and set up about 100 yrds away. He only gobbled on the roost a few times. He went silent for about 25 minutes. I finally seen two birds fly down towards the open field corner where I have a blind. After about 30 minutes of nothing I decided to sneek up to my blind in the corner of the field. I climbed in my blind and seen 2 birds about 300 yrs out in the open planted bean field. They strutted around for awhile and I could barely hear them gobble since it was so windy. The funniest thing then happened. Across the field a coyote came out and started to go towards the turkeys. I then thought, well this hunt is over. The turkeys then started runnuing toward the coyote. The coyote then headed straight for me pulling the turkeys in tow. The coyote got about 10 yards from my blind and then ran to the left corner of the field. The turkeys then headed toward where the coyote went into the woods. They were about 50 yards out and I let the biggest one have a headache with Winchester Longbeard XR #6's. Truly Lucky!!!! Never had a coyote help me kill a turkey. 24lbs 1 inch spur 1 inch spur 10 inch beard Score of 64 rayman wallpaper

Great bird and story parkerbow! That’s one you’ll never forget! Congratulations!! It was definitley the craziest thing I ever saw while turkey hunting. The coyote should have been chasing the turkeys. I have had coyotes mess my hunts up a few times in years past, but never helped me. I will take it though. I wish I had it on video.
