With this new ride your probably now going to want me to create a parking spot and a sign that says reserved for Deaddeer for you in my drive Yep, right next to mine! LOL Speaking of which, I will be going thru your area, send me a text asap if you want anything. I will be going East with minnows, West with perch and 6"+ Hybrid and Regular Bluegills.

My one bank would NOT lone a dime on the rebuilt. My other go to bank has changed to only loaning 50% on rebuilt. I put all my info into their lap, including all the prior vehicles they've loaned on, credit score, my loyalty to them, etc. They kicked in an extra 30%, so I'm on the hook for 20% of total, which I planned on applying similar amount anyway. So it worked out fine. Things have changed. Prior, they always loaned us 100%. I was wondering more about insurance. I looked up Kelley Blue Book, they say a rebuilt is worth 20-40% less, I guess that's probably what insurance would pay out. Anyway, that's a sweet looking truck and I'm jealous! I gotcha. On Carfax, there is a little over $5k difference between clean and rebuilt title values in this case. She said they pay the cash value of it at the time of a claim. Since I'm putting some of my own money into the deal and the loan amount is quite a bit less than actual value, it works out good for me.

Thanks for the comments fellas. Long overdue for a decent truck. Been running on 3 high mile vehicles for awhile, so nice to have a little breathing room.
No 4 door trucks yet for me Greg, just extended cabs. Been in plenty tho, and yes, they are nice. The rear seating is enormous. Was a nice selling point for 3 tall people.

The new truck is awesome! Getting 20.8 mpg since the reset when I filled it up. A full tank registers 612 miles. We put over 1k miles on it in almost 2 weeks now. Had a few small trips we used it on. I'm joking that we needed to drive the "newness" out of it so I can go back to my little work car. Lol.
Next trip planned is West Virginia to visit wifes kin folk in the mountains. That can't get here fast enough!
To top it all off, I sold my old truck today and made more than enough to make me happy! Things are going good!

I noticed a little lean to the drivers front corner. We heard a little clunky noise on some bumps. I got it in the garage and looked it over. I found the left front coil spring broke a coil towards the bottom. Of course a couple people said it was because it was wrecked and "oh great, it's falling apart already." I talked to a Ford mechanic buddy and he said it is quite common for them to break. Anyway, I ordered a new set of loaded struts, and a 2" leveling kit while it was apart. Got her together this weekend, and it really jacked it up. Definately not an old grandpa looking ride anymore. Lol. Me like, and it still rides great. Go up a few posts for the before look.

I have the 2 in leveling kit on my F150 and it really does make a big difference.

Probably would sit a lot higher without that concrete silo in the bed.

Thanks. Yeah she's a real head turner. All the bolts came out clean and like new. Surprising for a 10 year old truck from up north in the rust belt.

Now to re-align the headlights. Any higher and it'd be doing the Carolina squat! LOL
It looks great though.

With it being leveled to slightly high in the front now, it is squatting a little too much with my tractor on the trailer. Soooooooo, I raised the back to catch up with the front. Sometimes one can never be satisfied. Lol. It is real sporty looking now.

Taking that concrete silo out of the bed probably helped a lot!
