I had help over to move safes. I kept missing what I was interested in. I wanted that Walker repro or the Dragoon as a backup plan. Oh well they make more.
I would like to go to one of these auctions to save the buyers premium but ones like this Ludco would be like running a Marathon.

I didn't get nothin. Oh well. steven, yes to the marathon comment. I've been to a few auctions that started at 9am and the things that I was interested in didn't go until the very end, and at two auctions in particular that was 9pm.........
One item I won, the other I didn't but that was because I didn't want to buy the whole lot that they lumped the item in with at the very end to get the auction over with quicker. In retrospect, I should have bought the whole lot, it only went for $100.

Yep the auctions held at the home can be a mess. No parking, crap weather stand around all day and still do not get the one item you want. And usually the one item comes up for bid when I am standing in line for the one porta-potty.
The Mil-Surp guns went really high at the Midway auction. I watched an overfinished overbuffed Krag go for more than a great condition untouched one.
One thing I did learn on this post was to go to Webcast auctions in person if possible. I always assumed they paid the same premium. And everyone knows what happens when you assume.

I won a simmons scope with the turkey plex reticle for my turkey gun. Felt $25 was fair.
Was bidding on a .410 reloader but backed out when I realized it was more a want
