We have been up in one at Tippecanoe State Park many times. It's in the forest, and a very pretty view above the treetops, especially during the color change.

110'...that's a tall one. Been in quite a few in California, most not that tall though as they were already on the tops of mountains.

Climbed it a few times also backpacked the trail a few times. The horses were a little annoying but otherwise awesome. The thousands of Sandhills were migrating one time I cimbed it that was cool. Good memories ..

My wife used to climb it several times a week. Maybe 10 yrs ago. She climbed it this fall and had a freaking moment..
My daughter fell down a flight. Took a slow trip to ER thought she broke a thumb.
My son always wanted to climb it but typically would freeze after 3rd flight.
I am actually surprised usfs still allows people to climb it. Just a place that gets vandalized.

Being the inclusive guy that I am, several years ago I took my Girl Scout troop up it before we came home from a weekend of flat water canoeing and camping on the lake.
There was some apprehension, but all the girls made it to the top.
