I'm not really a basketball fan. I'm guessing that in Indiana that's akin to being a satinist at the national baptist convention, but I do like baseball. However, as a 50+ year Cubs fan, I am well aware that my Octobers will not be tied up watching my teams' playoff games. Acquiring Bellinger is living proof the Cubs have no intention of trying to win. So, any other baseball guys here?

I will go to some Reds games in the summer. Pretty easy to get tickets. I have been to College WOrld Series 8 times and Softball World Series 2 times. I actually enjoyed the softball more. Those girls dont waste time and the games dont drag on forever.

I would highly recommend checking out the Indianapolis Indians. They play at Victory Field in Indianapolis. No such thing as a "bad seat" and very reasonably priced and usually a decent team.

Grew up in east central Indiana and was a Reds fan in their glory days (can still remember most of the the starting lineup from the World Series teams). We then moved up to northwest Indiana in 1978 and shortly after became a Cubs fan. I've went to quite a few games at Wrigley and had some great times in and around the ballpark. Cubs fans suffered through some horribly bad teams but 2016 made it all worth it! Go Cubbies!!

I was a Reds fan most of my life but they have sucked for soooo long and I lost interest around 2000's...
You will be close to IU and they have a nice field for early college games. Highschool seems Columbus schools are typically competitive and probably fun to go watch some games there.
My daughter played a couple years in highschool and I have to agree. The girls games are so much fun. Fast paced, hard throwing and long bombs.

I'll check out the Indians. I love going to minor league baseball. Yep, girls are competitive x's 1000. Going to Wrigley is an absolute for me. Have always wanted to, was simply never close enough. In 1970 I was in elementary school in Susanville, California, and they stopped classes and gathered everybody in the assembly hall each so we could watch the World Series games: Reds -vs- Orioles.

Love Baseball! I used to follow a lot more closely than I do now but I like the Cardinals, would love to go to Wrigley and Fenway. I live near Evansville that boasts the 3rd oldest ballpark in America/world. I grew up watching/listening to St. Louis and keeping an eye on a local guy that played for the Yankees Don Mattingly. I also really enjoy minor league baseball. It's easier to get closer to the game and not so expensive.
