Open the map, zoom into Brown County, the yellow parcels are public. If you click on them it tells you what property it is. Not sure about any other areas around the state.

Public does exist but not in large tracts…. Most public land doesn’t need population control.

Hey now, no reduction zones here in brown county. One would have to know what tree is in and which ones are out. With it only being the sections of the property within the 1/2 mile line, an extremely accurate GPS unit would be necessary to stay legal

Pretty sure if any part of the parcel is within the corridor, then the entire parcel is legal to hunt.
This does not mean all of Yellowood SF, for example. But it might mean that of a 40 acre parcel, only 20 is within 1/2 mile of the highway, but you can hunt all 40.
There used to be a map showing all legal parcels, I'm sure they probably maintain it.

Ok, here is the text. I was only half-right. "Includes the entirety of any parcel of land, a portion of which is located within one-half (½) mile on either side of the centerline of State Road 46 from the Monroe County line to the Bartholomew County line. Only the portions of Yellowwood State Forest and Monroe Lake that are within one-half (1/2) mile from the centerline of State Road 46 are included in the deer reduction zone. Brown County State Park is not included in this zone."
