Full disclosure: I didn't read the article.
Is the plan to control just wildlife population or is wild life on the menu as well. I mean those few million years after dinosaurs is the reason humans survived

They want to let the wolves and mt lions control the deer and elk. They would also change the make up of the DNR Commisions to include people with like ideas. There is/was a conference in Spokane Washington where 2 groups with similar views are present.

I quickly skimmed through the article.
I'm certainly not a wildlife biologist, or any other formally educated wildlife authority by any means, but common sense tells me that this won't work very well in the long-term. The predators will eventually decimate their own food supply and, if left unchecked, will overpopulate beyond sustainable numbers. As far as I know, the only things bears, wolves, and cougars have to worry about are vehicles, bullets, and eating. Am I missing something? If not hunted, they will overpopulate. If they overpopulate, they will eat themselves out of food and become unhealthy and desperate and seek food elsewhere. Elsewhere will be residential areas.

Common sense seems to be lacking when you are a bunny hugger. Just like a lot of anti gun groups most of what they propose will never happen. It does though in states like California and New York.
