I'm usually the one helping everyone else in the family with their deer. This season I'm going to need some help dragging, dressing, and skinning. Time to call in a few favors. I was hanging ladder stands with my dad when he twisted the stand we were carrying. It got my hands in a bind and I couldn't let go in time. It tore some tendons in my wrist. I have to keep this on for 4 weeks. I'm trying to avoid surgical repairs.

I see you spending some time in the blind with the wife. She doesn't want to hunt together. She didn't even want me to help her pick a spot to hunt last year. She's pretty independent.

Best wishes for a full recovery! Those kinds of injuries are often worse than a straight up broken bone.
