I went to grab the card from my trail camera on my 1 acre of reduction zone property and as soon as I ducked under the bushes into the opening, about 20 yards from my camera, 3 doe were laying in their bedding area. It looked like bedding, but as often as I see the coyote I didn’t think they would be there, but there they were! Watched me walk to the camera and watched me walk back out. They never moved and never took their eyes off me

I was scolded again for not taking the deer bedded beside the driveway. She says I have to start taking the easy ones, they are the ones eating everything.....

I'm thinking I should probably lay off the does till after we start getting some rut activity. Just to see what might happen.

Based on the above, I'm thinking that if you don't kill some does, you might find yourself out of a spot.

Agree. Take a doe and show some progress for the homeowner. One less doe isn't going to change the opportunity to take a buck there.

Just pulling in the driveway is tough without being distracted. Your eyes bounce all over the place scanning everything cause you never know where one is standing.

Some years ago I had a doe give birth in my two car garage. The doe and two fawns spent most of the spring in the garage or just behind the garage in the grass. That doe stayed around my little 3 acres her whole life. She even survived EHD in my backyard. She did not have a fawn that spring. We left the garage door up just for them. My sons gave them names.

These owners simply want deer taken...honestly if they are hounding you on hunts that you're passing deer you might need to rethink your approach for this spot for going after bucks to filling freezer only (and buck is a welcomed cherry on top if it happens).

As a landowner with geese and ducks all over the ponds, I can relate. Hunters just wanted banded or tag geese. I wanted them to shoot and take as many as possible. None have ever been asked back or I have said no when they wanted to come back.
Point is, you may not have a spot soon.

If you are within two hours of me I guarantee I could get you guys that will do precisely what you want on your geese/ducks without passing.
