What’s the price for school lunch’s now days? Think we paid around $2.00 a week back in the day going to school. It’s amazing how many kids are dropped off and picked up at school vs riding the Bus nowadays. $2 a week....was that right after the depression? How do you remember that? I remember the school lunch cost $.95 a day in 7th grade 1987-88. A bunch of us learned how to flip nickles hard enough to leave bruises. Both my kids are in highschool, 10th and 12th grades. Lunch for 1 kid is just under $20/week. I’m thinking 2.50 a week my last year 79

You must mistake me for someone else. We had electricity, running water, indoor plumbing and automobiles. Maybe Jay I’m think he’s a old fart Hey, who's got more grey hair? LOL That should tell the tale right there. If memory is correct, Yes - Roundabout long version and ELP Lucky Man.

To be completely honest, I remembered the first one and knew what the 2nd one was but couldn't remember the name. So, I had to go dust off the albums I had while in college and look thru them. FOUND IT! LOL Play either on a good system with good base. You will see what I mean.

Yes majority of kids are not using the bus. Not sure why, probably issues with other kids or just don't want the headache of other kids on the bus. My kids walk or my wife will drive them if it is raining. It doesn't hurt too bad if you can see school from your front porch. Father-in-Law always said he paid taxes for bus service so the kids had to ride. I felt the same. The few times we took them I could not believe how people did that every day. Carroll HS is huge and the area is best avoided mornings and afternoons.

Horrible area we have been working on the new villas right across the street and you better be on the job before traffic picks up or it’s a wait Another is the 4 way stop in Leo and in front of the school on 1 going to Leo always a cop stoping traffic for drop offs or pickup.
