Looks good. Just adding value and curb appeal. Can’t go wrong with that.

Looks good and I've did the same this year. Removed the mulch and went with rocks. I built my house (was the builder) in 1992 and still working on it. I'm in the 30 year re-do projects. My next project is updating the front porch and back deck. I hope to start next month. I try to remember to take some pictures. Then comes the big one, the kitchen.

Anything I have to do I try to make it good enough to outlast me.

We went with that rubber edging this summer for our landscaping. At first I wasn't to impressed with it, but once I started laying it down it worked out really well and is still holding great.

We wanted to use stone edging but Lowe's was low on stock of the ones we liked. I didn't want to get half way done and them not get any more in this year. The rubber edging was easy to install and looks good. I like how you can mow over the edge. Not much trimming to do. When it needs replaced we will use stone. I put down the lifetime weed barrier fabric under the rocks. I'm curious to see how long that works.

Two of my friends own Holscher & Hackman Garden Center and they gave me some. This is where I do my annual Wayne's Honeybee Beginners Beekeeping Classes. It's a win-win for the three of us. The fabric should last past my remaining lifetime!
