I need a scope for my wife's 20g. I don't need anything too expensive. Does anyone have a recommendation for one? Or does anyone have a used one for sale?

I was able to buy a couple of the older Redfield Widefield 1-1/2x5 scopes for around $125 before things went nuts. They work for my old eyes. I bought a Burris 1-1/2x5 for my 45-70 for $150. I keep them on 3x when hunting. They all hold zero. They hold zero when running them up and down the power range. I bought off eBay or Gun(go)Broker.

For what you want, you are better off buying something in the $200 range used. I don't know if an inexpensive new scope will stand up to the recoil. You want one that tracks accurately. You won't be using it for hunting but to get it sighted in you don't want to spend $100 for ammo because the scope doesn't track correctly.

I know very little about scopes. I've never bought one new. I picked up a nikon monarch at an archery shoot. I guess I could use that but I wanted to save it for a .270.
I checked ebay and saw a few used models at a decent price. Realistically, she might use this gun a couple times a year and at a range of 30 yards or less.

I won an auction on this scope from ebay just now. I hope it works for her. Now I need to find some mounting hardware.

Bushnell makes a good shotgun scope. Got enough scatterguns I've been stocking up on other things, though. Good luck to her this season!
