I noticed that Hunting , Fishing , and Stamps have gone up in price . Not sure on what to think of it . To hunt and fish and salmon stamp , habitat stamp , state and federal waterfowl stamps , deer bundle , deer archery , shotgun , muzzle loader is going to cost me around $ 400.00 and I think that I forgot a license or two .

Why do you need the deer bundle, plus archery, shotgun, and muzzleloader? Prices did go up. That notice was put out many months ago.

I just noticed that. So to hunt deer do I need to buy a deer bundle if I’m hunting with a bow , shotgun and maybe a muzzle loader ?

That would be your best bet as it covers all those seasons.

Does my "Lifetime" license still carry some weight? Nothing changes with lifetime. Never will.

Nothing changes with lifetime. Never will. I think his is rubbing it in...... Indeed. I wish I had not been poor when they were still available. I think I spent 40+ bucks to hunt turkey 2 days this year. Deer tags are $39 dollars apiece! Oh well, a lot of fun for the dollar. Think about it, they had to go up, because conservation costs money. You have less active hunters in general, and a sizable percentage of those are not contributing via license sales. The money has to come from somewhere.

Nothing changes with lifetime. Never will. I think his is rubbing it in...... No rubbing it in. I paid my money, just like everybody else that did or could have. Just stating fact. I donate plenty of other money in sporting purchases of all kinds. I participate and help out with reduction hunts, etc. I am doing my part.

I ate a lot of Ramen noodles the year prior to buying my lifetime comprehensive license.

I ate a lot of Ramen noodles the year prior to buying my lifetime comprehensive license. I did the math and figured I couldn't afford to not buy it. Pretty sure the roi was 5 years based on all licenses and stamps back then. That was at the current price and the next couple years price went up again and bonus deer tags started getting passed out like candy. I did not buy my fishing lifetime. It didn't cut the business case. It was 20 yrs at the current price. Just couldn't swing both. Of course it would have paid off faster and I wouldn't have to lose my tags

Of course it would have paid off faster and I wouldn't have to lose my tags I was fishing in the St. Joe river at the time for salmon, and figured in the trout/salmon stamp that I was having to buy too, so that made the fishing part more attractive. I think my ROI was 5 or 7 years but after I purchased it they increased the prices of the licenses so it was a faster ROI than anticipated. What really sold me on it was that it is still valid if I move out of state and am no longer an Indiana resident.

When I bought my lifetime license I wasn’t much for fishing, so I didn’t add that. Probably a big mistake as I’ve bought a fishing license every year.
