Just put trip #1 in the books and once again WOW! Me, Schall53 along with my son and 3 other of our good fishing friends just got back from a 2 day trip out of Marblehead, Ohio aboard the Eagle Eye with our good friend Captain Bob Hayner. Last Friday, Saturday and Sunday the winds kept fishing to a min. and turned the lake to mud so Monday's fishing report was dismal. We left the dock Tuesday morning at sunrise and for the first hour all the spots we checked didn't look promising. We finally set lines and by 11:00 we only had 3 fish on board and it was looking like it might be a bust. Captain Bob decided to try a last option spot and it was GAME ON!!!!During the next 3 hours we boated 34 fish with at one time 5 fish on at once. The Quality of the fish was really nice and once again Capt. Bob made magic happen. DAY #2 We left the dock at 5:00am traveled by radar to a different area from yesterday and set lines in the pre-dawn darkness. Just as the sun began to brighten the day it went totally insane and well... just put it this way we were back at the dock by 8:00 with our limits. In addition to Walleye we even caught a couple really nice Small Mouth bass and couple of Schall53's favorite fish the SHEEPHEAD as a matter of fact he he got one that was suitable for mounting and so he was happy. All total we caught 227 pounds of Walleye, we had perfect weather and we ate well. Because we got back from fishing by 8:00am we were faced with a new problem because we never start drinking that early. Schall53 soon solved that dilemma. PHOTOS TO FOLLOW.

Looks like a great trip!
A buddy was at Erie earlier in the year and the fish they caught averaged 11 pounds.

Another fine trip as usual except for all those sheephead featherduster kept catching. It was all I could do to make him throw them back, he wanted to keep everything!!!
