fw.ky.gov/Hunt/Pages/ElkHuntingInKentucky.aspxFrom the above site. Based on the above numbers, that would mean non-residents would only have a chance to be drawn for one out of a grand total of 59 permits. I would say the odds are obviously slim...

That’s why I quit getting in the drawing. I’d have a better chance hitting the lottery .

Think there was over 95k applicants it said. Definitely slim chances of getting picked, but can’t win if you don’t play and my money goes towards something worthwhile.

Maybe it's just me, but unless they go to a point system where more points you have the better your odds of getting drawn, I ain't participating. Spent too many years trying to dray and got 0.

I fill your pain got many years in it still zip The way I look at it I spend a few hundred every year on Girls and Boy Scout 4 H soccer baseball T ball and who knows what else from all the guys I know and work with kids than you have EMT Fire police departments those all cost me 10 20 bucks so a elk ticket is cheep. I will say this I have won a 12 ga 870 Uncle Henry 22 1/2 a hog and a few other smaller things but I probably could of just bought of it cheaper try Maine moose it’s worst than KY elk
