Don't know if anyone here has a browning or Winchester with the dura touch coating but if you do and it's gotten tacky you can send in for replacement stocks.
I have a cynergy 3.5 o/u that I have never shot and been in back of safe for years. Pulled out today and it feels like someone dumped pine sap on it. Apparently it's not a matter of if but when it goes bad. They will either replace stock or give you a new gun either at price or more expensive. The settlement is continued forever. If you have one, call them and they will fix it

Yes, I have one. Read the fine print of the whole thing before you send it in. They want you to send in the whole gun, NOT just the stock. If they can't replace the stock they will send you another "comparable" gun.
I asked them if they didn't have a comparable gun would they send me back my gun with the bad stock? They said no.
I'm NOT going to send in my Browning A-Bolt Mountain Ti in .243 if they won't guarantee that I won't get it back. They have nothing comparable to it in their lineup today. Show me a Browning .243, with a metal trigger group and one that weighs 5 lb 5 oz that is in their lineup today and I'll send mine in. It has to have a MSRP of $2.593 or more too, that's what the MSRP of that gun was in todays' dollars when I purchased it.

I read that and was a bit of a stretch for me to worry about for several reasons. Mines a browning cynergy that the still produce although the camo pattern is not included in the line up. Second, I've literally never fired the gun. No use for a 3.5" 12 ga anymore. I actually figured I'd gamble that they can't match the pattern and maybe get a 28ga out of the whole deal. Either way, it was pulled out to maybe move so whatever comes back probably will end up being something else anyway

I just don't want to take the chance with this one. I probably will go find another lightweight stock and re-stock it out of my own pocket.

To update. 11Mar22 they received my Cynergy. All they had to do was replace stock and forearm. Still not even touched. Get updates every day and really don't need, never been shot but c'mon.
