Plus I like to have a beer when I'm out cooking. Whether it be in the garage in the cold or outside in the summer. Not the same inside for me. To each their own tho, not for anybody to judge how you run your show. Exactly. There's just something about standing standing around the grill with a cold one while watching what's going on outside.

You are reading way too much into what I said. Just a fun statement regarding cooking inside or outside. I meant, you cook anyway, anywhere, anyhow you like. Its YOUR preference or enjoyment to cook anyway you like. Have at it. No harm intended! 🍻

Picked up a large Blackstone about 6-7 years ago. A griddle that size was one of the best additions I made to hunting camp! It has been well used for virtually every meal.

I’m not much into grilling. Probably going to give my present grill away. I have not used it in over a year. I gave away both full LP tanks to the folks down in Kentucky that needed them worse than I did.
I do the majority of my what little cooking we do. Most of that is in my Ninja Air Fryer.

Guess I'm an oddball? Can't understand why anyone would want to drag all the groceries and gear outdoors, then drag it back in when complete, when everything is real handy in the kitchen? Dad was the same way he cooked a lot of time on the weekends but never owned a grill

I get lazy thinking I will use it in a few days so skimp on cleaning. That ends up a few weeks or month...rust spots show up that need care before cooking.

I keep and use several cast iron items in the camper currently, so maintenence isn't an issue if the griddles are the same.

I scrape, wipe down, and then re-oil after every use. Not too much different than other cast iron cookware. We have cast iron at the camper as well and it’s stayed pretty well seasoned throughout the years.

It'd be pretty difficult to run the smoker in the house........ I'd love to see the size of the range hood over it if you did though!! No BS here, my wife and I were looking to downsize and within 2 years got to see two houses built by yhe same family for other family members. They built compartments into the chimneys so that they could run the wood burner fireplace and use it as a smoker at the same time might not be exactly what we use today but it was a cool idea!

Here is dinner for tonight. Some steaks and poppers on the griddle. As well as some shrimp cocktail.

Went ahead and had me a nice little glass of Sipes bourbon from the local hard truth distillery. Went great with dinner.
