No way out. 2 ways to slow the loss
1. Increase taxes...not popular 2. Increase money in circulation by raising the debt ceiling...inflation
Neither is good but option 2 is easier as it gives out stimulus money, raises minimum wages, etc...but is a slippery slope that we are barreling down. No turning back. We will have more millionaires than ever but they will be considered middle class in 10 yrs.
Inflation is an invisible tax on middle class and poor. A parasite sucking blood from us while we think all is ok.

Not to mention more lithium underground than all of Asia combined. Get it out. Build refineries to process the oil. Build refineries to process the lithium. Use that money to pay off debt of our oversea "investors". Realize that we will never be free of dirty coal and understand that coal companies know this. Build clean coal fired plants. Initiate 2 term limits for government that limits those coming into office from using the job to become millionaires. Lure the best minds to the US for technology. At this point we are now the richest country in the world. Also, stop meddling in overseas issues that have zero interest to us.

You should know you can’t do that.

If just this was passed it would make a huge difference IMO. Will it happen? I don't see how as the very people we want to put term limits on, make the rules.

At some point, somebody needs to actually analyze WHAT the national debt actually is. Our annual budget includes so much money going to othe countries from decades and decades ago that every single thing the current government decides to spend money on is just added to the total.
We don't actually owe others countries that much money. It's those debts plus all approved spending from who knows when until now. It's well past time to shut off some spending. Seriously, why are we still sending several hundred million dollars every year to Laos? Our troops "didn't cross that border" nearly 50 years ago. It's time to move on.
