If I'm drinking just basic beer, PBR is what I drink most of... It won a blue ribbon, after all! I do love IPA's, my favorite of which is Upland's "Juiced in Time." I also enjoy whiskey. I guess I'm not too picky. If you can put a PBR down I take my hat off to you man that’s tuff and I can drink about anything

A 6-pack will last quite a few months in my fridge. I do like the craft IPA's, I've had a few different ones. Not an IPA, and you can't get it here, but Spotted Cow is good, so is Spaten, but I lean towards the darker beers, Dos Equis dark (brown bottle) for instance. Unfortunately I think I have been ruined, a friend of mine gave me a 6-pack of Orange Vanilla Mead that he made. I gotta get the recipe from him, it's fantastic. I also had a craft IPA in Wi 2 years ago called Honeybadger. It was 14% and that was really good, but the place wasn't in business when I drove past it this year. Bloody Marys are always good, I like the Mr. & Mrs. T's mix. I will drink that just like V8 (without alcohol too). Not too much of a Whisky/scotch drinker, but either Fireball or Patron XO Cafe in coffee is good. Since I lived in So. Cal. I have the obligatory bottle of Mescal with the worm in it on the shelf. I used to drink Gin and Tonics, but after one particularly long night many moons ago I couldn't stomach it any more, but for some reason if they were made with Tanqueray Gin they were just fine. When Mom & Dad moved they cleaned out the bar that was downstairs. There were some OLD bottles there, and I gave most of them away. A buddy that liked Brandy got all of those and we opened up a bottle that was over 100 years old since it was bottled. I don't remember what it was, but it was the smoothest alcohol that I ever had and we had it over ice. In the winter I have a recipe to mix raisins, apples, cinnamon sticks, apple juice and cheap whisky in a crock pot and let it simmer on the lowest setting. Fantastic to have when you come inside after being outside in the cold all day long. Then there's the Apple Pie 'shine that I make with Everclear........

I would love a bottle of Blantons Bourbon just for special occasions. I would keep it in the gun safe. Like primers though very rare and over priced.

I was thinking the same thing about you. Lol. Place here in mitchell never used to sell it much. One day they got it in and I bought them out. Next week they had more. Didn't need but bought it all. They keep it in now but I've never seen any leave besides what I buy. Pretty sure I created a small town market all by myself.

Also, being that it is Christmas time, let me share with you guys one of our favorite Christmas drinks. It'll change your life: Get a "Christmas beer." Sam Adams White Christmas is my favorite for this, but others work well too. Take a pint glass and put a decent amount of honey on the rim of it, then put brown sugar down on a plate and put the pint glass upside down into the brown sugar so the brown sugar sticks to the honey on the rim... It is a great Christmas tradition and they taste magnificent. The other thing is, I only drink them on Christmas eve and Christmas... That way it is specifically special and something I look forward to for Christmas.

The last beer I brewed that I'm drinking now is a Dark Lager that I made a little hoppy. But, I have not had a adult drink since the 25th of November. That will be changing soon.

Beer: Anything dark, stouts or porters Bourbon: Woodford Reserve Distillers Select (delicious hot or cold) and please don't mix it. It's a disgrace to the bourbon.

For beer I prefer Miller lite in bottles. I also like to sit by a fire and sip salted carmel Crown Royal over ice. The only drink I have out at dinner is a margarita with mexican food, or a Miller Lite with steaks.

I'm a strict Bourbon Guy, I've spent the last 15 years exploring the world, from $12 Very Old Barton up to 23yr Pappy.
Summer time, it's a Kentucky Mule (Bourbon and Gingerbeer) or Bourbon and Gingerale. Wintertime, it's something heavy with an ice cube.
However, I just bought a bottle of Stolichnaya and have been enjoying it on the rocks as well.

While in general I tend to agree with you on many subjects but if you put whiskey, bourbon, scotch or gin in front of me you'd better be following it up with a Coca-cola or Dr. Pepper. For me it's like golf, I've truly tried to like it but I can't quite get there without a little help!

I will mix a lot of whiskeys and bourbon, but if I buy a decent bottle I’ll usually just sip on it with no mixing. Think my last bottle I did that with was some horse soldier bourbon.
