I was up all night monitoring the storms. Apparently much devastation in KY; likely 50-100 dead. Mayfield is gone. At least 4 tornadoes including a monster that went for 200 miles.

Serious prayers for sure. I’ve been on the phone and the net as I just came through that area 1 week ago. Mainly, I haven’t heard yet from a good friend and hunter/fisherman that lives east of Jonesboro near Monette, Arkansas. I’ve been working with Voy for a few years at the Jonesboro, Unilever plant. No contract yet. Was also just at Dixie Gun Works in Union City, TN. No contact with my friends there yet!?!? Of course all this still fresh. Also still waiting to hear from my main District Manager who lives in Edwardsville IL where a tornado destroyed an Amazon facility. This is surreal that I was just working with these people in the last week or so.

It's Duck season down there, Reelfoot took a direct hit, I'll bet a LOT of hunters are among the people involved with the storm and I am afraid that the death toll will be higher. No place to go in a duck camp. I believe the majority of the fishing lodges at Reelfoot were damaged too.

I just heard from my friend Voy in Jonesboro. He’s ok! But, he is currently working with a crew, helping those less fortunate in the Lake City/Monette areas which suffered a lot of damage, 10-15 miles east of his place. I have heard nothing from others affected. My guess is that even cell coverage is out.

The one in St. Louis knocked down a portion of an amazon warehouse. I build those things and the walls are 8" thick precast panels that are roughly 12'x40'.

Going to be a long day flying patients out of the small Kentucky hospitals. We're already sitting with calls in the queue. Too windy right now though

Just got home and checked some work emails. I’ve now heard from all work associates and friends affected by the tornadoes. They are all ok. However, Some have friends and neighbors not so fortunate. We’ll continue to pray as we learn more.
