I don't understand the possession charge since he was legally allowed to have a gun at 17 in Wisconsin. The possession issue is his home state of Illinois. The gun was not translated to Wisconsin, it was already there sine he couldn't have it at his age in Illinois. Granted his house and the riots were like 50 miles apart, bit still different states. According to what I found on the internet... I believe Kyle Rittenhouse was 17 @ the time of the shootings.

Only 1 charge was dismissed. "Judge Bruce Schroeder dismissed a misdemeanor weapons charge against Kyle Rittenhouse on Monday prior to the start of closing arguments in his homicide trial. The charge, possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18, was punishable by up to nine months in prison and a $10,000 fine. Rittenhouse now faces five felony charges and, if convicted on the most serious charge, could face a mandatory sentence of life in prison. After dismissing the charge, Judge Schroeder issued instructions to the jury on the five remaining charges that stretched for over an hour. Yet he stopped midway through to discuss with the attorneys further and noted how convoluted the instructions are. "They are certainly correct in what they say, I just think they are not clear," he said."

Just watched the Defense closing arguments.
I can not imagine any jury convicting him.
But you never know..

Been watching it for the last hour or so. The defense put out an extremely good speech, don't believe for a minute he will be convicted for murder. Biggest mistake that kid had was to be there in the first place.

I can see why many lawyers end up as politicians as they can talk for hours and not make a coherent statement.
This prosecutor rambles and talks a lot about what he thinks Kyle was thinking.

I would NOT want to get into an argument with that judge! He would make me look and feel even dumber than I already do.

I would NOT want to get into an argument with that judge! He would make me look and feel even dumber than I already do. Listening to highlights on the radio. All the crooked A$$ media is saying the judge is a dope, a bully, he's prejudiced, etc. Saying how the prosecutor did an excellent job of proving the kids a cold blooded murderer. Lol. Just laughable. Funny how for the very reason it started was due to riots, they are calling in the NG for the verdict. Jeeez
