My last water bill was high so I walked the water line. I have a leak right at property line and neighbor horse farm. Just 30 yards below my stand. Two trails are 12 and 23 yards below stand. Fixing it on Monday. Tomorrow and Friday is rain so Monday is next good day. Maybe I'll make a monster scrape.

Gonna fix it right this time? No, it's hired out. If I or son then right. It's an old section copper line that is 50 yards long to road below me. Part on my property is about 80 yards long. No leaks in that section. My 1st leak in 29 years. I broke my 1st leak digging out the retaining wall. That is when I bought 250 foot line and ran a new path.

Sounds like you should’ve bought 300ft of line and just went to the meter

Things like that are a pain. Sorry that's an issue for you now and good luck getting it fixed.

I didn't want to dug up the neighbors yard the last time in 2018. The new section didn't leak. The leak is just a few feet into the neighbors yard. I'm thinking of moving in a couple year back to Indiana so this patch is good enough for now.
