Literally everyone is hiring. I.M.I materials will hire you on the spot with zero training and train you for cdl. Depending on area you work minimum starting pay is $20. Closer to indy you get the pay climbs up to $25+. 1.5 time after 8 and all day Saturday.
Southern Indiana, Catalent in Bloomington wants to hire close to 1500 more employees. Starting pay at lowest is around $18. All the jobs are on limited schedule meaning you'll only work a max of 4 days a week. I'm on a 3 day schedule. 1.5 after 40 and option to make double and triple time.
Those are two of the better paying starting jobs I know. I could spend all day writing them out here. What it comes down to is literally EVERYONE is hiring. If you don't have a job, you just don't want one. And don't jump on me. I understand true disabilities. If you have a true disability, I get that. If you don't, well you just don't want to work.
BTW. You know you can buy two Hershey bars and two monster energy drinks on food stamps and then go get into your $40,000 4 door jeep wrangler?

They have to pay that much to get anyone in there. No one wants to work in there right now. People are leaving that have been there a good while. |

Do the Lilly manufacturing jobs pay decent? I know the higher up positions do but I've never heard anything about the lower end jobs.

I think it said 6 days a week, 12 hour days. So 72 hours a week.

I wonder who made up those numbers? That's 3 times what I make, and I'm killing myself to keep the country moving along. Oh yeah, that sounds about right then. |

I thought the same thing. I'm not working 72 hours a week though. But, I don't even bring home half that amount in my bi-monthy pay scale.

My girlfriend got a job today. Starting out at $18 an hour in NKY at a bottling facility. She will be moving in with me now that she has a job in the area.

Sorry for the late reply jman, i believe the prodution jobs start around 16$ hr., but could be more based on experience. There is no pension , but do offer a dollar for dollar match up to 6% in the 401. I believe they offer 2 1/2 weeks vacation starting out. let me know if you have any more questions. |

You guys are missing the bigger problem I’m not sure but I believe they said they had about 3000 Refugees maybe they could cook clean and take care of the place for us as a thank you after all they got free food housing medical and who knows what else
I can’t believe we are paying for this and yet the same people tell me I need to work till I’m 67 to get a small fraction of what I paid in
