So am I understanding this right, the outside unit comes on, the fan in the outside unit runs but there is not air coming in the house or being expelled from the ductwork? If that is the case then it's something with your furnace, now if we are just talking about the outside unit then I don't know. The outside unit comes on and pushes freon to the A-coil. But, the blower motor on top of the furnace isn't pushing the cool air into the ductwork.

I found my motherboard at century pipe and supply in Valparaiso. I can get it tomorrow. This has me worried a bit normally the main control board powers the furnace blower and ac relay normally when control boards go out nothing works but some boards have blower contacts built into them and that relay can go bad and other parts still work Thats one thing for sure that’s bad about one control board doing every thing you can have a $ 2 part part fail on it and it cost 200 plus easily to replace the board you basically have no other choice

It's a 19 year old furnace so I guess things around to start failing. Your price point was pretty close too, $196 after tax and shipping. Central Pipe and Supply, or I guess it's Tri-state Pipe and Supply now, is a pretty nice place. The guys inside were super nice and easy to work with. Service guy is coming over tomorrow night to install the new part.

Yep!! They are affiliated with Cardinal Pipe and Supply in Plymouth. I've paid for stuff there in Plymouth but gone to Valpo to pick it up.

Just got the motherboard replaced. Fired right up. Here's the culprit. I'll finish this motherboard off with the firing squad. Not sure if I'll let the .308 or the .243 have the honors. Heck, I may even let the .22 LR have a go at it.

Look around for some of this. Even though it is for electric harnesses, it should help.

Genesis273 your a "JINX": Yesterday morning I noticed my air conditioner was working overtime however it was just staying at the set temperature. I did a quick examination and saw that the coil was encased in ice and I know that usually means I am low on freon. I contacted Land Heating and Cooling of La Porte and this morning they verified my suspicions. I will be without Air Conditioning until Monday when they will install a new 3 ton unit.
I got 22 years of trouble free service out of the old unit and instead of patching and hoping to get some more borrowed time out of this unit I am just going to replace it and go on with my life.
I have had minor issues with my heating and cooling over my 44 years of owning homes and I can tell you it's best to have a reputable service repair it. It's better then guessing.
