No, I haven't been following the games, but some things you simply can't get away from. An American athlete, that may or may not have been vocal about social justice and equity, has a mental event bad enough that she withdrawals from the games after she finds out that she won't get all the points she earned because the other athletes aren't as successful as her....... So socialism and distribution of wealth is perfectly fair as long as you are on the receiving end, and not at all right if you're on the side that is losing what you've earned? Imagine that. I had not heard the part about not being awarded equal points or points yhe she deserved. Very interesting. Some of the powers that be decided that she wouldn't get scored at the full difficulty standard of her stunts(?) because she was so much better than the other athletes and they didn't want the other athletes trying to preform above their abilities to compete with her.

Unreal, not cool in my opinion. However Greg posted a pretty good link from Jason Whitlock, I really wish she would have stuck it out for her team. Forget the country for a second, forget the gold SHE would have won but think of her team that worked their tails off to get there that had a legitimate chance at a gold medal. I am familiar with mental illness, it is not a small thing but she has been through this pressure before, I'm not sure if it was a panic attack or what but I really think her team deserved her participation. Could it have been a political stunt? Who knows. She will have to live with this and our day to day will continue we will not think of this in a week or two but it will lie heavy on her head and the heads of her teammates.

Biles destroyed her Brand going forward. Nobody likes a quitter, except for liberals. The golf is fun to watch in the evening on the Golf Channel.

Women's handball...who knew it was an Olympic sport. Looks more like rural Indiana hockey during gym class.

The required uniforms for the women includes bikini bottoms In protest one team wore shorts and was promptly fined.

Watched the 70 meter archery. The guy from USA was a stone cold shooter. I think his name was Wookie or something close to that

Just so everyone knows we do have a few medals won by Hoosier's this year. Jackie Young from Princton win gold with her team in women's 3 on 3 basketball. Also Lilly King of Evansville has won silver and bronze in swimming. We have 2 ladies competing in wrestling Sara Hillinbrant (sp?) and Kayla Miracle both competing in women's freestyle wrestling at different weights. These are all of the athletes that I know of from Indiana maybe there are more if anyone knows please post them up. Good luck to all our athletes!
