I can understand people regretting them. Especially if they made some life changes. At 41 years old, I don't regret getting them. All of mine mean something to me. They are either family related or have something to do with stuff that I'm passionate about like hunting and archery. I don't ever see myself not enjoying those. I let my daughter come up with a design with her name in it and I got that tattooed on my chest. When I see old pictures of me before I got them it looks very strange to see my arms bare. It just doesn't look right to me.

TRUE STORY: a friend that I worked with was in the NAVY during the Viet Nam war aboard his ship was a good luck puppy/mascot they named "NUT". When ever things got crazy on the ship they the sailors would say "SAY NUT" for good luck. My friend got a tattoo of a lil puppy on his upper arm with the word SAY above the puppy and the word NUT below the puppy.
Over time his skin weathered and changed which also changed the appearance of the tattoo so that it appeared to say......
GAY NUT.

When I lived in Indiana I would always go long sleeve when asking for permissions. I stopped to just visit a dairy farmer that had let me hunt a few years, he asked when I had gotten "all those tattoos", I said Ive always had them. He mentioned had he seen them when I first asked he may have said no. Still to this day some seem shocked when they first notice them on me. Long sleeves still when meeting clients for first time.

Felt the same for many years, but learned to compromise for the betterment of myself and family. Hell I think most people that are all tatted up have a few screws loose also....LOL

Round two was slightly over 4 hours straight black and color shading. It's starting to look like something. This wasn't as painful as the outline, but once we got close to 4 hours my arm was burning. I feel better than I did with the outline work. I felt like I had the flu afterwards. I like the hedge apples

I like the hedge apples [/quote] Thanks. The tattoo artist said I'm probably the only guy who has got them in a tattoo. This is my 3rd osage/hedgeapple tattoo.

He opened his books up last month I believe and people were wrapped all through town to get an appointment. They had to shut the line down as there wasn’t enough time to get everyone in. I went and talked to him a few years ago and told him what I wanted. He was full of great ideas, but I never made an appointment then. Guess I should have. It’s hard to find good black and white wildlife tattoo artists.

It’s hard to find good black and white wildlife tattoo artists. I was able to get a hold of him via email and he took my number to fill in any cancellations, which he rarely has. I was wrong about the two years too. There were enough people to fill out this year and probably next, but that’s when they cut it off. He is booked until the beginning of next year. How many more rounds do you have? Can’t wait to see the finished product. It’s a unique one for sure.
