Anyone buy from them lately? I am finding they have beat most everyone on a fish finder but anymore I am leary about buying on line. I got burnt this year, bought something online and received some bogus items from China. Tried to get refund and they wanted me to ship back...cost was not worth it. PayPal is in bed with these scammers. Now up to my credit card to see what they will do.
Anyways I will be making sure I order from legit biz these days

Nothing for a couple months. The last thing I bought I gave a rather critical review with suggestions for improvements. They emailed me and said I could return it for a refund. I didn't want a refund, I wanted it a bit better and plan on using my suggestions to make it that way.

Way overpriced but I may go that route if I can't confirm the vendor will deliver or protect the consumer from scams

I buy from Ebay pretty often. I can find things on there just as cheap or cheaper than about anywhere else online. It's easy to get refunded if the transaction goes bad. I earn 3-5% rebates on every purchase. I'm also signed up on the Acorns investing app. Ebay matches another 1% into my account for each purchase. It isn't much, but it does add up. Especially when buying sets of tires, small engines, Christmas presents, etc. I do most of my shopping online. Working 2 jobs and living in a remote area makes it an easy decision. I'm an hour drive away from a major business area. Walmart and Lowes are 30 minutes away. Driving 2 hours to save a few dollars isn't worth it to me. My time off is more valuable than that.

Bargain shopping on the web for a specific item can pay off. Just make sure the vendor is customer focused.
Amazon can be the best option but many vendors pay to be promoted and you have to weed through a pool full of those. It used to be easier.
I am done with ebay because I have to use PayPal. Where ebay may help the customer I got the raw end of a small purchase with PayPal. Can't stomach giving pay pal anymore biz. Plus ebay kept pushing notifications to me. I am sure there is an option to turn off but deleting the ap was easier

On eBay I always look for the seller country of origin. If China I move on. If you went to Sportsman Guide web site directly unless they say warranty is done by manufacturer I would not be worried. A redirect or from an add on a site I would be cautious. If from an email I would be leery unless I subscribed to them I would report to the alleged company.

Well I went ahead and bought it through sportsman guide. They beat all prices. I did make it to eBay and got frustrated with the mess.
Thanks for the feedback guys.

Well thought all was good...till I opened the package today. They sent me the wrong unit. Simple enough I called them and they told me I had to contact the manufacturer...I said that is not right. I ordered from sportsman guide based on their advertisement. Sportsman guide packaged the unit and shipped it to me. Why would the manufacturer have a say in it?
Long story short, they "granted" me a 1 time offer to return the item to them for a refund. Incredible luck I have with this crap.

That is why I let my wife do the buying, she always checks before hand if there is free return or not. She is a member of prime and I swear if it wasn't for our family I believe amazon would be bankrupt by now. Every other day there is a package. I get tired of burning the darn things. Around Christmas is the worst, I have to move the burn pile back another 50 feet or so as to not melt the siding on the house.

I just looked up reviews on them and most are bad.
