I took another part time job recently (selling guns at our new Scheels) so I am doing it!! I have been driving a series of old hunting/chore vehicles the last several years (91 F350, 95 Jeep YJ, currently 92 Dodge W150) with a leased car. The car was turned in last spring and the 92 and my motorcycle have been my means of transport. I have been looking for a few months and realized that an F150 was the only vehicle that fit my wants/needs - those being extended cab, V8, long bed, 4x4 and an e locker. The combo has proven to be rare as hens teeth so it took some time. I finally came across one with what I wanted (and a bit more) in a color I don't mind (black) so I pulled the trigger.....I just have to fly from CO to Cleveland and drive it home!!! Here it is .... www.fairwayfordohio.com/new/Ford/2020-Ford-F-150-Canfield-OH-0be7c2a90a0e0ae8650d971b153be750.htm

Guess you’ll really figure out if you like it on that trip home. Congrats on the new purchase.

I know I70 like the back of my hand We moved from Indiana to Aurora, Colorado and lived there for 2.5 years. We did the trip back and forth 9 times in those years and that trip doesn’t get any shorter. The never ending state of Kansas takes forever to get through.

Good for you. I was talking to an older gentleman who works for a local car dealership as a driver. Goes and picks up cars and drops off cars. They just took a Camaro to Louisiana for a guy. He went to Detroit 2 times last week to drop off 2 other cars. They had a guy fly in from Arizona to buy a car and drive it back.

Congratulations on a beautiful truck! I'm 53 years old today and have never bought a brand new vehicle. I just can't bring myself to do it. My daily driver is 25 years old (been driving it 17 years) and my nicer F-150 is 16 years old now.

The site analyzed millions of new vehicles sold in 2014 to find out which ones retain the most value after five years of ownership. www.autoblog.com/photos/pickup-trucks-ranked-by-resale-value/BTW.... Happy Birthday..... don’t watch any news today and it will be a happier day 😊

For 2019, the Chevrolet Silverado did replace some steel body panels with aluminum ones, but not the bed. And although the GMC Sierra also has ‘mixed-material’ body panels, it skipped an aluminum bed for a carbon-fiber one. Ram has also only used aluminum selectively.”

Everybody has one, they don't rust and keep their $$$$. I will use my United Miles for the flight so the only out of pocket expenses I will have will be the trip back.

My brother bought one of those new Chevrolets with the 6 inline diesels in it. Nice truck but cost a fortune. I bought one a few months ago....it's the perfect truck. If a person can drive under 65mph it'll get 30ish mpg and even got 17mpg pulling my tractor.

Very nice. Hope you have a safe trip!
If the 2 door Broncos can be found anywhere near their advertised base price, I'm going to be sorely tempted when they come out later this year.

Saw the Badlands Bronco Sport at the local dealer....if you were looking for something that size it seemed pretty cool
