I'm not smart enough to post a link, but Jeff Sturgis has a new video on the different "costs" of hunting land and how he views each. I don't agree with all of his hunting opinions, but I agree 100% with everything he points out in this 22 minute video. I rarely watch an entire video of any sort without skipping over parts, but I watched this one from start to finish.
The YouTube page is "Whitetail Habitat Solutions."

I watched that also. I like a lot of his videos, especially the habitat stuff.
One thing to remember though is that purchasing your own land, while a "cost", is also an investment. I'd rather own a few acres, than see a few extra digits on my bank slip.

Been watching his videos all season long. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and smart when it comes to deer. No gimmicks, no snake oil, just pure passion for deer and how they use the environment around them.

There has been no greater joy in my life than owning my own property and managing it as I see fit.

I have really got into Jeff's video's. Great to hear the various setups and ways to manage land for whitetail hunting. I am in the market but it seems Indiana land is going fast these days.
