Hogue Beavertail Grip Sleeve installation tip!

I didn't really think this fit in the Firearms section so I'm posting it here.
I recently acquired a nice Glock 43 with a good assortment of magazines, holsters, upgrades and grip options.

One of the grip options that came with the gun was the Hogue Beavertail Grip Sleeve.
The noted item #2 in the instructions states:
"Hogue emphasizes grip security and safety over ease of installation. Depending on your model of firearm, the installation may be a strenuous process to ensure a perfect fit."
Man! They got that right!
I felt that if I pulled and stretched any more that I would rip the grip sleeve in half!!!
Based on their further instructions and notes I found on other handgun forums, I tried various options from boiling water to Windex to soap and water, etc.
Those combinations did not work for me.
One other suggestion worked like a charm.
I used Hand Sanitizer combined with a sleeve soaked in near-boiling water for a few minutes.
I coated the gun grip and the inside of the sleeve with the sanitizer.
A few old timers on a forum assured that the sanitizer would have no ill effects on the grip or the sleeve once installed and left to dry overnight!
I figured I'd risk it.
It literally took less than 2 minutes to install:
