"The Clinton County Sheriff's Office described the injury as serious yet non-life-threatening. Behr was hospitalized in stable condition as of Sunday night.
Deputies along with other ODNR officers and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the area. Three suspects were arrested.
Brian Liming, 49, of Xenia, Ohio, was charged with Weapons Under Disability, No Deer Permit, and Hunting Without Permission. Thomas Davis, 35, of Jamestown, Ohio, was charged with Aiding an Offender. Brian Achtermen, 36, of Midland, Ohio, was charged with No Hunting License and No Deer Permit. ADVERTISEMENT Deputies will present the results of their investigation to the Clinton County Prosecutor's Office to determine additional charges, the sheriff's office said."
The crazy thing is those charges already....MANY MANY MORE are going to come down on these guys.

Little searching of Brian Liming....appears he has been suspected Poacher by many a person for years...couldn't find any confirmed past cases but didn't search Ohio records. Sounds like a major group of douchebags.

Hopefully rhe Prosecutor has the stones to charge them, or at least the actual shooter, with attempted murder.

Hopefully rhe Prosecutor has the stones to charge them, or at least the actual shooter, with attempted murder. I'm guessing so. The trigger man already has felony charges filed due to having a weapon illegally in his possession which is a felony charge. All the game violations also filed...sounds like investigation is what is pending which charge for the attempted death of the officer will be attempted to stick. I am betting this scum knew he was facing felony charge along with other misdemeanor game law violations and did not want to see a cell.

So you’re saying Brian R. Liming is the “trigger man”? How did you come about that perception ? Two of them are charged with hunting without lic

Two of them are charged with hunting without lic I drew that conclusion, but the article I cited clearly outlines one of the three suspects did the shooting. The name I said is 100% possibly incorrect but after reading all the articles, it appears as such - but let me be clear for anyone reading, he was NOT directly named the shooter.

Hard to tell what really happened, except CO being shot. All I know I would not walk up to a deer decoy during legal hours of gun season. I wonder if the CO was wearing orange. In Ohio you need a vest or more of Orange. Not just a hat.

There is no accidental shooting of another person. Negligent or ignorant discharge of a weapon sure, but accident doubtful.
I doubt it even more given all the game violations they already had filed instantly on them and the one a felon for having a firearm when they legally could not.
Such "winners" I'm sure it was all a "misunderstanding" and they just "good guys" that got caught up in the moment.

If a gun drops or falls then there most likely a accident.... but to aim a point a firearm that’s no accident IMO
