Great news. Glad they are taking on an old industrial site vs new construction in undeveloped land.

Maybe so but I still would rather have a company step up and clean up an eyesore rather than build on undeveloped land. It is a commitment to the city that may have been better to build on a cornfield or few remaining woodlots.

Hopefully they can find people to work now. Factories around here are begging for workers. That is all the radio is ad's for factories wanting workers. People are just lazy, they are paying 16 up to 21 per hours. Giving all kinds of bonuses too.

The media leads you to believe that everyone is starving in the streets, meanwhile all of my contractors are begging for manpower. My wife has had four jobs posted since September with not a single applicant yet. Not career level jobs, but pays better than unemployment and have benefits.

Some are just lazy and entitled, and work doesn`t suit them. Add to that the new socialist demon-crats, and hey, why would they work for a living when certain politicians are promising them "free" everything? I`m looking for new work, and I intend to work for a good while. My only problem is, once prospective employers catch on to my age, they`re not interested. While it`s true that at 63 I can`t work like I did even just 10 years ago, I`m at work on time, I`m at work everyday, I can pass the drug test and background check, and I have just enough OCD to be a good employee because it makes me nuts to not do things right.

UPS is begging for workers they. Its on TV every 5 minutes I was talking to a guy that works at the UPS hub in Louisville. He said they normally ramp up staffing at the end of October for the holiday shopping rush. They had to start hiring in late March this year due to the increase in online shopping. He said they have been above normal holiday staff level since June and will currently hire anyone with a pulse that can pass a drug test.

I'm pretty sure it is being remediated under the GM bailout agreement.

Ahhh, you mean the illegal, unconstitutional taxpayer purchase purchase of a so called, "American" automaker, for which we`ve never even been fully paid back...what sweet and warm memories...

Ahhh, you mean the illegal, unconstitutional taxpayer purchase purchase of a so called, "American" automaker, for which we`ve never even been fully paid back...what sweet and warm memories... You should do some fact checking once in awhile... SMH “In total, GM received $52 billion from the U.S. government, but only $6.7 billion of this amount was considered a loan. The company already paid back $2 billion, so this $4.7 billion is the last payment.Jul 23, 2019” www.consumerismcommentary.com/general-motors-paid-back-bailout-loans-in-full/So the US taxpayer GAVE this foreign auto maker $52 BILLION, but only $6.7 billion was "considered" a loan...SMH...ain`t semantics a bear?
