So I helped my twin son and daughter sight their deer rifles in today. Thought it would be a quick and easy five or so shots each just to check scope. Well, that was not the case. My daughters gun for some reason was all over the place and ended up switching to my backup gun, a 44 lever. Got them both sighted in, but also ended up going through more ammo than I had planned started out with 1.5 boxes and now have less than half a box. Didn’t think about it until I was cleaning up and putting things away and then remembered that because everyone is freaking out about guns and ammo, there’s an ammo shortage currently. So jumped online and called around a few places only to find out that there’s no one that can even get them right now. I can’t believe it. So- all that to ask all of you guys if anyone has an extra box or two. I’d be willing to drive all the way to your driveway and pay for them too. Or maybe someone knows where I might be able to find some at a small town shop somewhere or something? Hoping to find some here ASAP. Thanks guys.

First, I believe Proboards rules say this post isn't allowed.
Second, knowing where you are makes answering way easier.
Third, Google Quicksell Guns and Ammo in Westport Indiana and give them a call. They have a pretty good selection for such a small place.

The 44 Mag - Leverevolution ammo is outstanding ammunition, period. Best of luck finding it, I hope you score buddy.

My Marlin 44 HATES Lever...whatever ammo. It shoots the standard Winchester "white box" better than anything. The local Meijer had plenty Sunday.

I’m sure it’s good ammunition, but out of a lever action Marlin rifle they just don’t group well. Out of any particular Marlin, they might group well. Each rifle is unique. Out of the particular Winchester '94 I had, they grouped pretty well, and their terminal performance was exceptional in my experience.

My Ruger .44 Mag Carbine liked just the plain old Winchester White Box.

Most Marlins that I have seen slugged had large groove diameters that needed larger diameter bullets or even lead to shoot accurately.

I can't help you with any 44 mag Hornady gummie tip ammo. My Marlin shot the gummie tips good but it likes the 240 grain XTP better. Since I reload I traded off all my short Hornady brass. I do know where some 240 grain WWBs are though. If that would help.
