:)which performs better when using triple 7? The powder form or pellets. The pellets are more user friendly but I have been told that their performance is not as good as the powder form because of possible are gaps in the charge.

If that's the case,I can't tell it.I use the pellets in my omega and could be happier with the performance. As always just my opinion,I have nothing against powder though.

If your gun will shoot the pellets accurately then use them but powder has the advantage of being able to adjust the load in 5-10 grain increments. Ive shot powder and pellets and my preference is powder. h.h.

I use 90 grains (Volume) of "777" FG in my Black Diamond M/L with a saboted 250 gr. (.452") Hornady XTP, fired by a 209 primer. This is the best load for my M/L. I tried the pellets (two-50 gr.) but received poor accuracy.

My groups were better using 100grains of loose 777 vs. 2-50 grain 777 pellets.

IMO Muzzlestuffers are too individualized to be stuck using 50/100/150gr loads.
My Inline likes 55gr target loads and, for some weird reason, 105gr hunting loads. It's just not accurate or consistnt with 100gr, and 150 is no fun to shoot.
My Flinter likes 50gr target loads (BP) but 110-120 PRB hunting loads, or 80-100 gr Minnie loads.
Pellets just don't let you tune your load to your gun.
