Wondering if anyone has held one of these yet? I'm assuming they're just a glorified Encore?
I do like the looks and thinking about going for that instead of an Omega.
One question if anyone knows... I really like the overmolded fore grip and stock however I noticed they also make this Prohunter with a Camo thumbhole stock. Do the thumbhole stocks on these guns have the overmolding as well?
Will the rifle barrels also work with the Thumbhole stocks?

I held one at gander mountain and they are pretty nice but they do seem alot like a glorified encore, they do have the fluted barrel and the swing hammer does seem like a nice little bonus

I shouldered one at Cabela's back in July. IMO, they are just that, a glorified Encore. Not that that is a bad thing. Encore junkies should love them.
I'm not a fan of the Encore, simply because for whatever reason they just don't shoulder well for me. Something about the grip just does not feel right to me.
Awesome guns none the less with a huge following. I'm sure this gun is no different. Pricey though that is for sure.

I would rather have an Encore with a magna-ported barrel than the features listed on the Pro-Hunter Encore. I can put an hammer extender on the hammer cheaper than what T/C charges for the swing hammer. The fluted barrel is fluff.

The inside of the barrels are probably the same.
