I haven't been in the woods since morel season. Curious as to how bad ticks are. Thinking about chasing some squirrels in he Muncie area. Appreciate any info on the situation!!

I haven't put any spray on either. Mosquitoes are not bad either....knock on wood!

Ticks seem about as bad as usual to me, but my goodness the chiggers! I normally wear my leather wellingtons ( pants tucked in ) if I'm going to be anywhere near grass this time of year, but wed. I was in a hurry so I went to check my camera wearing just tennis shoes. I walked about 300 yards through grass--not even that high-- went down through the woods, and back. even changed my socks right when I got home. my ankles and the top of my feet are still on fire tonight!

Been out hunting in 5 different woods, over 5 days. No ticks, and very few mosquitoes. I did the permethrin thingy as a precaution, though.
