I have been squirrel hunting for as long as I can remember. But not actually cleaned any until I got older. My grandfather would clean them when we went out, I would help gut them but he did the skinning. In all my years I have never had one that was pregnant at this time of the year. Anyone else run across a pregnant squirrel during hunting season?

No, but I got a week old,at most baby squirrel from a dead tree I cut on August 22nd a few years ago.

Years ago I did when I hunted around geist before it was geist. She had 5 in her.
