What a sad day for the Speedway and fans alike. It was announced that this years race will be without fans. In my opinion the race shouldn't be ran if it has to be ran without fans. It will not be the same. Sad, sad, sad.

No even close... this was a business decision not a sexual encounter! Duh Roger didn’t get wealthy by being dumb!

This is smart to not have people in the stands when the race runs. We can still watch the race on TV. I think it's better on TV than in real person. Even the best seats (Number 1 turn) where you can see most all the race track is not as good as the TV views. The race is actually boring. All they do is race around a track turning left the entire time. Except when the pull out of the pits they have to steer right a little bit. Now watching the people at the track is much more interesting that watching the race cars after a while. The start and finish is the best part of the race.

I know you love car racing (and will continue defending it) but in this case, he said one thing and did another FOR THE MONEY... As far as him being dumb, I never said he was dumb, he's just a SELL OUT...

Without the fans and merchandise that money is drying up. The decrease watching is drying up. Soon the money is going to dry up. This policy is grim for all sports. I could see owners very soon demanding their drivers not to crash. We need this car to last the season. Might have already happen to some drivers. End of throw away cars.

There is a lot at stake by not running the race and not paying the prize money to the teams.

Funny how a couple of days ago you said Regardless, he said one thing and did another... It's about the money, plain and simple.

Yeah...... teams get paid by TV money and prize money.... you don’t run the race you don’t get any of that!
Keep Heckling..... I sure Roger has dealt with that many a time with his rise to the TOP.

Defend it any way you choose to (like a good fanboy should), but he said one thing, and did another...for the money. Have a good day.
