Anyone else poked themselves in the lip with a knife while skinning game? A friend may or may not have done it and I may be that friend. Not sure how such a thing even happens.

I ran a hind leg bone of a squirrel into my hand ONCE 35 years ago, I am more careful now. Cutting the chest of a handing deer. Cut it with a saw and pulled it apart to put a spreader in I ran my hand right along the sternum that was freshly cut. I proudly hold a ten inch scar. Last back surgery I had the nurse asked if I had carpal tunnel surgery because of the scar. Told her no, deer sternum. She didn't ask many questions after

Your friend sounds like an idiot!
I had a muskrat tooth puncture my hand and give me a bad infection.

I nearly removed my left nipple trying to test shoot a bow the other day. The draw length is much longer than mine and I had the string pulled back behind my ear.

If your friend would ask you to hold my beer youโd better run just as fast as you can ๐

I think the closet to that I've ever done was to get gored by a catfish, more than once. I also managed to get a single Gar tooth in my hand some years back. I'd rather have the catfish pain...

I was holding an aluminum tube lawn chair (the kind with fiberglass webbing - remember those?) that I was taking apart for scrap. I had bent it already and worked it back and forth to break it into straight pieces. Well, it slipped in my hand and cut the palm pretty badly. I probably should have gotten stitches, but a couple of butterfly m gauze pads and athletic tape and I was back at it.
I had a guy at work that was using a manual band crimping tool (1" wide metal bands). He slipped and punched himself in his nose so hard that he broke his nose.
Don't wipe your pocket knife blade off on your pants when walking either. I did and cut my pants (front of my thigh).
A few minutes later I noticed about a 2" dia red mark on the pants. That I SHOULD have had stitched, it took forever to heal because kneeling down pulled the skin so tight that it peeled the butterfly bandages off and tore it open again. That happened a few times...... (tearing it open)

Your friend sounds like an idiot! I had a muskrat tooth puncture my hand and give me a bad infection. Can I tell you how many times people have looked at my friend and said "you're an idiot". Can I also tell you how many times I've been asked by a surgeon, "how'd this happen" and responded, none of your business doc, just stitch it up. 90% of my scars I have on my body usually, at some point, have resulted in someone saying, you're an idiot. Well usually dumb***.
