Got pictures of wolves hanging around last summer, mid day in the food plot. This last winter I cut a good trail from my house to another food plot, 200 yards, while skinning beaver in the shed I looked out the window to see a timber walking up towards the kennels 1:30pm!!! My son's girlfriend was walking her dog today up by Ely and a wolf was walking beside her just off the trail watching her dog. About to OPEN season and teach these s some respect!!!

And here I thought the season was open already for that type of behavior.

Last month friends of mine near Thunder Bay were walking their dogs and a pack of timbers came out and attacked. Luckily only a few puncture wounds and none of the dogs were killed. Walking down a dirt road just a few hundred yards from their house!!!

Forty some odd years ago my brother and I were rabbit hunting one afternoon on the back 40 of our landlords property in Carrol county. Our dog (collie mix) was with us and started growling LOUDLY. She NEVER growled at anything. I turned to look behind us and saw a pack of wild dogs about 30-40 yards away and closing fast, Brother and I both raised our guns without a word being spoken and started firing. I think we dropped 6 dogs and the rest took off in a big hurry. I was only about 20 years old at the time, but I have not entered a woods since without being armed with something.

I remember wild dog packs when I was younger, but havent seen or heard of any down there since maybe early 80's..true WILD dog packs anyhow. We have to many wolves here to have feral dogs and cats.
